MY TIME Interactive the brand is also the Trademark nomenclature of the proposed joint venture by M/s TBSPL & consortium of content fraternity organizations and individuals: present the magic of Interactivity on TV and PC. It rides on the Convergent Technologies for broadcasting and telecommunication, which was under development for the past 3 years at Time Broadband Group. The cutting-edge expertise of MPEG-4 revision 10 (H.264 Advanced Video Coding) has been sourced for Content Delivery Network (CDN) to ride on the broadband network; which has been progressively installed, for the convergent Interactive video tier service to be launched, shortly. The biggest advantage for TBSPL is the utilization of existing infrastructure and the increasing customer base with common billing pattern; where the collection would be done by the telecom service provider through their current recovery mechanism.
TBSPL has entered into MOUs with various telecom service providers across India to provide Value Added Services over broadband corridor. In this deal, as per the terms of agreement, telecom operators have taken care of investment in the infrastructure that is required for providing broadband connectivity from the application servers for triple play to the subscriber's household. For the first three years, the access would be exclusive to only three companies, one of them being TBSPL as their technology integrator & content provider cum operational partner for Video-tier rich-media service, TBSPL would operate digital end-to-end service, from back plane servers at our Network Operating Centre to the Set-top boxes, connected at customer premises.
TBSPL would build and own all the elements of this massive city-wide content delivery network with service delivery platform, to operate Uni-cast & Multi-cast services of rich-media; apart from critical sub-system and peripheral devices. Primary and secondary broadband services bouquet to be provided by creative fraternity; the content aggregation where TBSPL as re-purposing pioneer would manage revenue share based collective pool of multi-media content covering film, music, games etc. Telecom operators have geared up on this mega project to provide triple play (for voice, data and rich media video tier service through MY TIME) to all of its subscribers, We are closely working with the following major trade-bodies and technical alliances across the world to gather strength through trade body platform with knowledge sharing, for ensuring global benchmarks of service to our customers.
